Todd:

Hi, my name is Todd Anderson, I was born & raised in North Minneapolis through the age of 18 and a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. I married young and had three beautiful children Grant, Matthew, and Grace. Through many years of working hard and bumps in the road I went through a horrible divorce. My children are Grant (30), Matthew (23), and Grace (19). Grant graduated from Ridgewater Community College in 2021. Matthew graduated in the spring of 2022 from North Central University (NCU) with a B.S in Business Administration. Grace is currently a senior in high school.

I completed four years of carpentry trade school and was a member of the carpenter’s trade union for over 19 years. I worked as a commercial construction carpenter on projects such as; all Cub Foods stores within the five-state area and beyond and the Excel Energy Center just to name a few. In 1996 while I was still a carpenter I survived a near death experience (drug overdose) and that is when God saved me. After the Lord’s leading in 2005 I was called to start my own construction company Brocon Construction Inc. The company was used to put guys coming out of Teen Challenge and prison to work in the construction trade with an emphasis on training, life skills training and discipleship.

In 2006 I met the love of my life, Kelly, while attending North Heights Lutheran Church (NHLC) while being discipled in the Alpha program. Within 1 year I married Kelly on February 17th, 2007. Through nearly 10 years of being discipled through Alpha at NHLC we found the importance of small group settings and have incorporated that as a vital part of the way we do ministry currently.  We have invested 1,000’s of hours locally and internationally of training including workshops, seminars, visitations such as: hospitals, prison’s, outreach, one on one counseling, assisted in running food shelves and so much more.

The company Brocon Construction continued to grow, and we found a need to house people that were broken and coming out of extremely difficult life situations such as drug addiction. Helping these types of people has became the call on our lives. Since 2008, we have housed over 50 people teaching life skills and empowering them to live a Christ centered life. We have stewarded five homes during this time and most recently stewarded an 11-bedroom property as a community home. The Lord called us to worship there (house church) and disciple mainly young adults who desire to grow deeper in their faith with the Lord. After attending a worship center Josiah Center (JC) for two years both Kelly and I became ordained ministers on June 21st, 2015. We continued attending JC for another year then the Lord called us to create our own ministry Beulah Outreach Ministries International (BOMI). This helped to fulfill the call which God wrote on my heart back in 2004, the scripture Isaiah 62:4-5. The church that we run is called Beulah Outreach Ministries International (BOMI). BOMI is an accredited non-profit org. with a 501c3 status.

Kelly:

Hi, my name is Kelly Anderson I was born & raised in South Minneapolis, MN and a graduate of Washburn High School. I started my first job at the ripe old age of 15 years old cashiering at Arby’s in Edina. I attended Hennepin Community College (HCC) for two years and received my Associates of Arts Degree. I proceeded to work various jobs including waitressing, fish butcher, receptionist and then I started my own small cleaning company. I also attended Minneapolis School of Massage where I received many hours of massage training in the late 80’s. I married at the age of 23 and continued to have an entrepreneurial spirit. Through many life issues and a horrible divorce, I found myself with a God shaped hole inside. I was trying to fill this God shaped hole through work, working 2 jobs at one time, through relationships and having my new home built still nothing satisfied. I finally chose a career path in sales and marketing. I was the director of sales and marketing at a local Hampton Inn for seven years. One day my roommate invited me to an Alpha course at North Heights Lutheran Church (NHLC) in 2004. This is where everything in my life began to change. Through giving my life to Jesus and surrendering my own way of doing things I realized I needed to put my trust in Jesus.

In 2006 I met the wonderful godly man I would marry Todd Anderson while attending North Heights Lutheran Church (NHLC) while being discipled in the Alpha program.  Within 1 year I married Todd on February 17th, 2007. The Lord used Todd & I to minister His love and disciple people through the Alpha course for many years. Through nearly 10 years of being discipled through Alpha at NHLC we found the importance of small group settings and have incorporated that as a vital part of the way we do ministry currently.  We have invested 1,000’s of hours locally and internationally of training including workshops, seminars, visitations such as: hospitals, prison’s, outreaches, one on one counseling, assisted in running food shelves and so much more.

I worked with my husband in our company Brocon Construction doing the bookkeeping and administration and physical labor. Our company continued to grow, we also started housing people in need as we were employing people who graduated from Teen Challenge and post prison situations. Helping these types of people has become the call on our lives. For the past 10 years we have housed over 50 people teaching life skills and empowering them to live a Christ centered life. We have stewarded five homes since 2008 and most recently stewarded an 11-bedroom property as a community home. The Lord has called us to worship here (house church) and disciple mainly young adults who desire to grow deeper in their faith with the Lord. After attending a worship center called Josiah Center (JC) for two years both Todd and I became ordained ministers on June 21st, 2015. We continued attending JC for another year then the Lord called us to create our own ministry Beulah Outreach Ministries International (BOMI). The church that we run is called Beulah Outreach Ministries International (BOMI). BOMI is an accredited non-profit org. with a 501c3 status.

Both: As a couple, we have been married for 11 years as of February of 2018. We are ordained pastors with an Apostolic calling to help this generation step into there destiny in Christ. We have 3 children that are loving and caring. We are so grateful to God for our beautiful family.
